1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Value My Car Today vehicle purchase service operated by Value My Car Today Ltd ("Value My Car Today", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By submitting a vehicle valuation or accepting an offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. The Valuation Process

2.1 Our online valuation tool provides an indicative purchase offer based on the information you supply, including vehicle registration, mileage, condition, and service history.

2.2 The online valuation is not a legally binding offer to purchase. It is a preliminary indication of the price Value My Car Today may pay for your vehicle, subject to the conditions set out in these Terms.

2.3 A binding purchase offer will only be made following a physical inspection of the vehicle by a Value My Car Today representative.

3. The 24-Hour Price Guarantee

3.1 Subject to the conditions below, Value My Car Today guarantees the online valuation price for a period of 24 hours from the time it is generated ("the Guarantee Period").

3.2 The 24-hour price guarantee is valid only where the vehicle presented for collection or inspection exactly matches the description provided online, including but not limited to:

• The vehicle registration number and identity
• The mileage stated at the time of valuation
• The vehicle condition as described
• The service history as declared
• The number of keys provided
• The finance status and amount outstanding

3.3 The guarantee period commences at the time the online valuation is completed and expires 24 hours later. Valuations submitted after the guarantee period will require a new valuation to be completed.

4. Vehicle Inspection & Price Adjustment

4.1 All vehicles are subject to a physical inspection by a Value My Car Today representative prior to purchase. Value My Car Today reserves the right to adjust or withdraw the offered price where the vehicle does not match the description provided online.

4.2 Value My Car Today may reduce the offered price, or withdraw the offer entirely, in any of the following circumstances:

• The vehicle has damage, wear, or defects not disclosed during the online valuation
• The actual mileage differs from the mileage declared online
• The vehicle has been involved in an accident not previously disclosed
• The vehicle has an insurance write-off marker (Category A, B, S, or N)
• The vehicle has outstanding finance in excess of the amount declared
• The vehicle has non-standard or aftermarket modifications not disclosed
• The vehicle has a clocked, altered, or unverifiable mileage history
• The V5C logbook is not present or the vehicle identity cannot be confirmed
• The vehicle has been imported and differs from the DVLA record
• Mechanical or electrical faults are identified that were not disclosed
• Market conditions have changed materially between the online valuation and the physical inspection

4.3 If the offered price is adjusted following inspection, you are under no obligation to accept the revised offer and may decline to sell the vehicle to Value My Car Today.

5. Your Obligations

5.1 You warrant that:

• You are the registered legal owner of the vehicle, or are authorised to sell it on behalf of the owner
• The vehicle is free from any undisclosed finance, liens, or legal encumbrances
• All information provided during the valuation process is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
• You are at least 18 years of age
• The vehicle has not been used for illegal purposes

5.2 You must provide the vehicle's V5C registration document, both sets of keys (where applicable), and any relevant service history documentation at the time of collection.

6. Payment

6.1 Where a purchase is agreed, Value My Car Today will make payment by bank transfer to an account in your name on the day of vehicle collection, subject to receipt of satisfactory documentation.

6.2 Payment will be made to the registered owner of the vehicle. Value My Car Today will not make payment to third parties other than in exceptional circumstances and only with prior written agreement.

6.3 Where there is outstanding finance on the vehicle, Value My Car Today may pay the finance company directly to settle the outstanding balance, with any remaining balance paid to you.

7. Collection

7.1 Value My Car Today offers free vehicle collection at a location agreed between you and our team. Collection is subject to availability and geographic coverage.

7.2 You must ensure the vehicle is available and accessible at the agreed time and location. If a collection appointment is cancelled by you with less than 24 hours' notice more than twice, Value My Car Today reserves the right to withdraw the offer.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Value My Car Today's liability to you in connection with the purchase of your vehicle is limited to the agreed purchase price.

8.2 Value My Car Today is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from the withdrawal or adjustment of an offer.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Cancellation

9.1 You may withdraw from the transaction at any time prior to the transfer of vehicle ownership without penalty.

9.2 Once a vehicle has been collected and title transferred to Value My Car Today, the transaction is complete and cannot be reversed.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
